The Bridal Shop

Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear Shop sells new and gently used wedding gowns, formals, petticoats, veils, and accessories. All proceeds are used to promote awareness and prevention of sex trafficking as well as restoration for trafficking victims.

Truly a community effort, the store is staffed and managed by volunteers, and has received monetary and in-kind support from many local individuals, businesses, and generous brides who donate their gowns.

The Fred Meyer Corporation has provided a 2,800 sq. ft retail space rent-free and all of the items sold have been donated. Our shop can be hard to find. We are located in the Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer shopping complex but we are on the upper-rear level of a separate building. 76th Ave looks more like part of the parking lot. Its best to think of it this way if you can see Freddies you can't see us...head up the ramp on the garden center side our shop faces Scholls Ferry Rd and is next to the Shear Pleasure Salon.

What you will find at our store

At Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear Shop, you will find hundreds of wedding and formal gowns. Some have been donated new, and others have been worn, usually for one day. The shop carries designer to vintage and everything in between. Prices vary but start at $100 so brides on any budget can find the dress of their dreams. Each item is one-of-a-kind, so looking for a particular gown in a particular size is by no means a sure thing. On the other hand, we receive new donations daily, so the stock will be different each time you visit the store. There are many dresses suitable for dressed up occasions such as bridal party/bridesmaid, special events, performance, prom, or theater. We also carry veils, headpieces, petticoats, shoes, accessories, and other wedding items.

You do not need to make an appointment to shop for wedding dresses at Adorned in Grace, but if you intend on trying on dresses, we recommend you arrive at least an hour before closing. To make the most of your experience, you may wish to come prepared with an appropriate undergarment (Adorned in Grace carries some strapless bras/bustiers) and shoes of the height you plan to wear. Don't forget your camera! We are able to put you in contact with qualified seamstresses to help you with your alteration needs.

How the proceeds are used

Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear uses all proceeds to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking, conduct outreach events and training for the prevention of human trafficking, and provide support for rescued victims.

Through outreach workshops and special events, the Adorned in Grace Design Studio in SE Portland inspires women and girls to become advocates on behalf of their at-risk sisters in low-income, high-crime neighborhoods. Donated gowns that can't be sold in the shop are used to inspire design creativity, teach young girls valuable life skills, develop healthy mentoring relations and raise awareness for the prevention of sex trafficking.
