Adorned in Grace Bridal and Formalwear Shop sells new and gently used wedding gowns, formals, petticoats, veils, and accessories. All proceeds are used to promote awareness and prevention of sex trafficking as well as restoration for trafficking victims.
Truly a community effort, the store is staffed and managed by volunteers, and has received monetary and in-kind support from many local individuals, businesses, and generous brides who donate their gowns.
The Fred Meyer Corporation has provided a 2,800 sq. ft retail space rent-free and all of the items sold have been donated. Since Adorned in Grace has minimal overhead, the proceeds from every sale can be used to combat the problem of sex trafficking in our city.

The mission of Adorned in Grace is to work with many churches and organizations to provide funding to and awareness of the problem of human trafficking in Portland. Adorned in Grace operates under Compassion Connect, a 501c3 organization that brings together churches to do transformative work that they could not each do alone.
As followers of Jesus, we heed the call to live justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. Seeing a need to extend mercy to children of God who have been exploited through human trafficking, we seek to help them in their need.
Care of our creation is secondary as a mission for Adorned in Grace, but certainly bringing wedding gowns out of closets and putting them on brides is a sustainable practice, as is the design studio concept of creating new fashions out of donated materials.
What you will find at our store

Each item is one-of-a-kind, so looking for a particular gown in a particular size is by no means a sure thing. There are many dresses suitable for dressed up occasions such as bridal party/bridesmaid, special events, performance, prom, or theater. We also carry veils, headpieces, petticoats, shoes, accessories, and other wedding items.
